Eligibility criteria vary depending on course requirements and university guidelines:

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the

  • 12th grade with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and appeared for the NEET-UG in the respective year.

2. Seat Allocation:

  • 85% Seats: Admissions are conducted through the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) based on the state merit list.
  • 15% Institutional Quota: Filled based on NEET-UG scores of the respective year.

Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT)

1. Educational Requirements

  • Degree: Must hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.Th) degree.
  • Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Institutional Recognition: The degree must be from an institute within Maharashtra, recognized under the Maharashtra State Council for Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Act 2002.

2. Admission Criteria

  • Entrance Exam: Selection is based on the results of the PGP-CET (Post Graduate    Physiotherapy Common Entrance Test).
  • Selection Process: Admissions are conducted centrally by the State Government.
  • Merit-Based: Final seat allotment is strictly determined by your PGP-CET merit rank.
